"Better Energy Solutions, Inc. absolutely deserves a five star review! The whole process of waiting since the initial application was long but so well worth it! Annette was great, initiating the start of the work. Joel from the office was great, keeping me informed with what to expect and any changes that came up pertaining to the work. Ray did an awesome job of measuring and selecting the windows for my house. Thank you, Ray, I love them! The work crew, Janis and his team came to my home in beautiful trucks and a trailer equipped with high tech equipment. Janis briefed me on what they would be doing - insulating and venting the attic, insulating the basement, the garage and living area. This included weatherstripping doors, as well as insulating one door and replacing another. They rerouted my dryer to vent outside and they installed a bathroom exhaust fan. Both made a huge difference in the moisture in the house! Janis and his team were professional, polite, knowledgeable and their quality of work was outstanding! Any concerns I had were addressed immediately. Janis and his team took time to take care of small details that they noticed, such as adjusting a door latch to close easier and a screen door to close correctly. During their time here, they treated my home with utmost respect, as if they were working on their own home. It was so apparent that Janis and his team take much pride in their work! I was impressed at how organized they were and how well they worked together as a team! Everything just seemed so seamless with them as they worked together. They were actually a pleasure to have here working on my home. Such a pleasant demeanor. Their work was clean and meticulous. If I ever needed work done by Energy Solutions in the future, I would request Janis and his team in a heartbeat! When they left, you could not tell anyone was here working on the house, inside and out. They also installed beautiful new windows. My old windows were falling apart, literally. They were in very, very bad shape, looked awful and leaked air badly. The new windows look absolutely beautiful. Janis and his team did such a wonderful job addressing every detail inside and out. I love my new windows! My living room was the hottest room in the house from the afternoon sun. I had to drape room darkening/black out curtains because it was so terribly hot in the room. The new window now blocks some UV rays and a lot of the heat, noticeably improving energy efficiency and comfort! Did I mention that I love the new windows? :-) They are so nice! I can't praise Better Energy Solutions enough ... as well as Janis and his awesome team! I would highly recommend them! I hope the team knows how much I appreciate my experience with them. "What an invaluable experience!!! I was blown away at the productive information given by my auditor Andy, he was so professional and calm which eased my anxiety about the issues I thought my house would face to fix. If you need a great audit CALL THIS COMPANY, I asked Andy a million questions and he not only answered them all but showed me the places in the house as he explained the solution!!! (why can't NYSEG provide even a third of the information BETTER ENERGY SOLUTIONS shares!) Andy was thorough and detailed but easy to understand and follow; he made everything very straightforward and free from confusion. He was even able to advise on the areas of necessity since budget was a huge factor for us, we will be rethinking our windows and door quote from another company thankfully, and not get snagged on being sold more than we needed. Andy made sure he left with my full-understanding of how and WHY the project was needed and how the energy in my particular shaped house worked, the tips on how to better conserve and utilize my house's energy movement was in itself priceless. I feel relieved at how my energy bills can change moving forward-- I could not more highly recommend this company, especially for hiring such incredible employees you will probably not find elsewhere."

No project is ever without some bumps… they handled each one professionally and communicated updates along the way. "I recently had this company at my house the last two days winterizing my over 100 year old home. The crew showed up on time and they went above and beyond over the course of two days. I immediately felt a difference in my home after they insulated all of the empty walls in my home. They worked so professionally and efficiently. I had glass from a windstorm over winter and the crew took care of the broken glass on my front porch for me. They also didn’t leave a single trace that they were there. Day two I got home to my work done in my basement and I couldn’t have been more impressed or happy with the work this crew did. They even replaced my old dryer vent for me and my burnt out light bulb on the front porch. The vents and ducts to my furnace were cleaned and repaired Absolutely amazing, thank you all so much for everything."
