"Albertson Marine came highly recommended to me by several friends, so I decided to store my boat with them over the winter (21-22) and have them do some maintenance while it was there. In March I contemplated selling the boat, so I drove over to take pictures. I discovered that they hadn’t pulled either bilge plug and the aft bilge and engine were almost completely full of water. We agreed upon a course of action to correct their oversight that included a number of components being replaced and a complete flush of the engine oil and transmission. They ultimately tried to charge me for that work, left the boat partially disassembled, and with greasy cardboard all over my year-old aft deck. I wasn’t impressed and was ready to get out of there, so I did and they ‘wrote off’ their labor for the fixes. Fast forward a bit more than a year later and it was time to commission the boat for this summer (moving and a new baby kept the boat on the hard last summer)… what did I discover? Watery oil, water in the transmission, a water-logged starter, and a freshwater pump that also hadn’t been replaced after being submerged. Additionally, the bilge, which was clean upon delivery to them, was filthy and oil covered. A business doesn’t get a 4.9 star rating without doing something right, but I can state without exaggeration or hesitation that they did wrong by me and when given the chance to rectify the issues they created didn’t lift a finger to provide anything close to 4.9 star service."

"I was purchasing a 17' Boston Whaler Montauk from an ad I saw online. The boat was great except for a slight engine noise I had heard while at idol. The seller said "he didn't know what it was but we can bring it by Albertson marine for a "quick look". I have to tell you that the nicest people came out to "take a look & listen" to the motor. Not only did they look at the engine, they hooked it up to a barrel of water and ran it to give me their expert assessment of the noise. Bill from Albertson gave me his blessing and wallah! I purchased the boat. Offering to pay him for his time....he waived the fee. My plan is to move out to the North fork and we WILL be bringing our boat to their marina for service. THANKYOU!"
