"I just wanna say, this place and the employees there get a bad rap. They're understaffed but they still do their jobs well. I've never had any problems with any of the employees at this location, and in fact they're often very polite and helpful with me (maybe because I don't childishly gripe to them about every little thing but hey, what do I know?). A few of their regulars have gone above and beyond to help me with international shipping before as well. These people work hard, and they do a better job at it than UPS or FedEx, that's for sure. So thank you to the employees at this location. Thank you guys for actually caring even when your customers don't."

"Give them no star in my mailbox saying they tried to deliver a package and they didn’t the first time it happened. I chased the mailman down flag him down and get my package and when I asked if she knocked on the door, they said no so they have to learn to get out of the truck and knock on the door if a package requires a signature."

"The mail man assigned to deliver our mail is wonderful, very respectful and always walks through our driveway to deliver our mail. When someone else is covering when he’s off they just walk through our front yard instead of walking through the driveway. I find this very disrespectful. I wonder if you can report this and to whom?"

"With the retirement of a certain employee, the Bay Shore post office is now pleasant and moves quickly. The person I dealt with was very courteous and professional. I no longer dread going to the Bay Shore post office."

"I have to say this was the worst experience at a postal office. Alam was the only one working , he rang the bell multiple times to get help and nobody came to help him. He remained calm after taking multiple people always with a smile. He had two coworker just look at the line and said nothing to him even though he asked for help they shrugged it off. I say whoever is managing this place should get demoted because nobody came out to even explain if they were short staff or even an apology. Alam apologize multiple times even tho it wasn’t his fault. Give him a raise and demoted everyone else."
