"St. John's Lutheran Church is a beautiful Church, with many wonderful people and programs. They have been very kind to me over the year's. When my house burnt down, they collected money at a few service's and the Pastor came right over and gave the money to me. That's how thoughtful they are. My 2 girls went to the week long summer camp , and loved it. They have groups that meet for many different reasons, and all are just wonderful people. I know all this cause I worked there for a little over 5 years, and wish I never had to leave. But if your looking for a caring, kind, wonderful Church and Pastor, please take the time to go to a service. Or just talk to the Pastor about the programs they have. They had and probably still have a basketball ball teams for kids. Such a good way for kids to stay off the streets.Don't just take my word, go see for your self- even if your not Lutheran, it's not much different from Catholic. I've met Catholic's that went to St. John's and stayed. So do your self a favor and check it out. You won't be disappointed"

"Both of my children have attended the church's preschool and vacation bible school and have had wonderful experiences. The preschool teachers are patient and caring and the curriculum is both interesting and engaging for little ones. I am not religious but sending my children here has provided them with a great baseline religious foundation. Both of my children enjoyed attending Vacation Bible School (a free weeklong themed daytime program) and the volunteers that run the program are incredibly nice and helpful. The church offers a wide variety of youth and adult social activities as well as a comprehensive music program and an overall friendly atmosphere."
