"These court officials who are paid with our tax dollars never answer the phone and the judge went on break for an hour and a half today after only being on the bench for an hour today. I'd give zero stars if I could. They aren't there for us, they are there for a paycheck."
"I'm surprised they haven't fixed anything after so many negative reviews. This place is the worst family court. Can't get a hold of them. Can't get any info. And the lady is incredibly rude. I just got papers in the mail for who knows what, and I can't get any answers about it! She told me before that there is nothing I have to worry about. Then why do I have to fill out a petition for custody for my child, whom I already have custody of? It just came in the mail. I'm so confused, and they are unprofessional. Get new hires, please, and maybe the ratings will go up and I could get my questions answered."
"Suffolk County Family Court: Concerns Regarding Biased Proceedings and Lack of Proper Investigation My experience with the Suffolk County Family Court left me deeply troubled by the perceived bias towards one party and the lack of thorough investigation into the facts of the case. Despite seeking resolution in a challenging family matter, I found the proceedings to be skewed in favor of the defendant, with little regard for the facts at hand. Throughout the proceedings, it became evident that the court system exhibited a bias towards the defendant, undermining the pursuit of justice and fairness. Despite presenting compelling evidence to support my case, it seemed as though the court failed to objectively consider the facts, resulting in decisions that favored the opposing party. Moreover, I was disheartened by the apparent lack of proper investigation into crucial aspects of the case. Despite raising legitimate concerns and providing substantial evidence, there was a notable absence of thorough scrutiny and inquiry into the facts presented. This lack of proper investigation not only hindered the pursuit of truth but also undermined the integrity of the legal process. It left me feeling disillusioned and questioning the fairness of the system meant to uphold justice. In hindsight, I recognize the importance of a fair and impartial judicial system, where all parties are afforded equal consideration and opportunities to present their case. However, my experience with the Suffolk County Family Court has cast doubt on the efficacy of such principles in practice. Moving forward, I implore the Suffolk County Family Court to reevaluate its procedures and ensure that proceedings are conducted in a manner that upholds fairness, impartiality, and thorough investigation of all facts presented. Only then can the court system truly serve its purpose in delivering justice to all parties involved."
"the employee with the blonde hair who worked today was terrible, even my kids couldn't believe it. She didn't listen to anything, kept repeating the opposite of what I said ......just alot. I get there will be new employees who dont understand there job but the attitude and the energy from this girl was disgusting. Where is the other guy he was amazing."
"This place is the most unprofessional place I’ve ever dealt with in my life. The judges, staff members and anyone affiliated with this place are incompetent and rude. I had my case dismissed while waiting to appear in court. I believe they’re in cahoots with the father of my child. It’s been over a year and I’ve missed out days of work, just for them to reschedule when he decided he didn’t want to show up. I’ve always taken time out from my day and work to make sure that I was at every hearing. They even switched my judge at one point. This place should be shut down. Their lack of professionalism shows. I waited for over an hour on Microsoft Teams just for them not to answer. Even called in on a separate phone. They kept me on hold. When I called in the lady tells me that they was going to be a little bit of a wait and how they were running behind schedule . I waited on the phone for over an hour. I live in the state of Florida. The father of my child didn’t even show up in court. I believe that this was orchestrated. The judicial system is rigged. I am disgusted and disappointed by the behaviors of all the staff at the SUFFOLK COUNTY FAMILY COURTHOUSE. Everyone should be fired immediately . They need to hire people with compassion and understanding. I always call in 10 minutes prior to my scheduled court hearing. Seems like today out of all the times I’ve called they were “behind schedule” I even called to make sure that my hearing stated at 10. Waited over 1 hour just for me to call and find out they dismissed my case. The father of my child didn’t even show up in court. I’ve been dealing with this for over a year. The lady I spoke to was very nonchalant and told me I would have to file all over again. I’m not wasting my time nor my energy."
