Important Updates:

- Department of Public Works: From July 7th to September 8th, the Department will be open on Sundays from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM for residents to drop off household garbage, recycling, and paper recycling bags for landscaping debris. Residents must present their Village ID or proof of residency. Please note, no large bulk items will be accepted.

- Safety Reminder: Due to recent car break-ins, we urge residents to lock their car doors at night. Report any suspicious activity immediately by calling 911.

- Community Engagement: Join us for a Zoom webinar on August 26, 2024, at 7:00 PM to meet the Village of Bellport Board of Trustees. Stay informed about the latest developments in our community.

- Public Hearings: The Historic District Preservation Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals will hold public hearings in August. Stay updated on zoning matters affecting your neighborhood.

Upcoming Events:

- Family Bingo Night: Enjoy a night of fun at the Bellport Country Club on August 1, 2024. Participation is free, and refreshments and prizes will be provided.

- Summer Concert Series: Join us at the Bellport Marina Bandshell for live music throughout August. Concerts may be postponed or canceled in the event of rain.

Community Services:

- Back to School Giveaway: On August 20, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, we will be distributing free backpacks and school supplies to children on a first-come, first-served basis at 4 Bell St, Bellport.
