Our department is led by experienced and respected leaders, including Fire Commissioner Rasheed “Roc” Williams, who was recently sworn in. We honor the legacy of our past leaders, such as Ex-Chief & Past Commissioner William Feeley and Ex-Chief George Leggio, who have both answered their last alarm. George Leggio, who served as Chief from 1965 to 1967, will be fondly remembered for his dedication and service.

Brentwood Fire Department is always ready to respond to emergencies, as demonstrated in our recent operations. On March 29th, we tackled a challenging structure fire at 45 Connecticut Ave, led by 1st Assistant Chief Ed Kelly, despite severe hoarder conditions. Our team also successfully managed a fire at a utility building on North Gardiner Drive and a fully involved fire on Yarnell Avenue.
