"The most professional teachers, supportive staff and fellow students and a wonderful atmosphere for learning hand pottery and wheel throwing. My favorite place to be."
"I can't wait for Pottery classes to be open so I can continue the craft that I learned at another venue that is no longer open. I am SO thrilled that any purchases I've made over the year go to help others less fortunate than me."
"The Brick Clay Studio and Gallery is a Fantastic place to tap into your creative side, and possibly even begin a journey to reinvent yourself, which may lead you to a potential side gig as a potter/ ceramicist, after a lot of practice and dedication to the craft. The studio offers several classes in wheel throwing pottery and also in hand building ceramics. Generally each course is usually 8 weeks, consisting of one 3 hour class and an additional 4 hour open studio/ independent study period per week. The cost of each course is typically $375 including a 12 pound block of starter clay. If you run out, you can buy a larger 25 pound block. Beginners also get a basic clay tools kit to start with. The cost is well worth it because you’ll have an invaluable creative experience, taught by several professional potters, all of whom are quite talented and inspiring, to watch as they demonstrate several techniques and offer students wide support during each class. After taking several courses you have the option of becoming a member which the website explains in more detail. Likewise, Summer clay camps are offered for children. There’s also an intensive 5 evening, summer adult Clay Camp. More information is available on The Brick Studio website. Whether you simply want to dabble in ceramics or take it more seriously, The Brick Clay Studio and Gallery will help you lay the perfect foundation. I highly recommend it. Enjoy!! Mr. Pat Clemente"
"Having no pottery experience at all, I decided to take a hand building class last spring. I was hooked, and moved onto a wheel throwing class!! I am loving this new found interest and the artists at this studio are warm, welcoming and helpful. A wonderful sense of community!"
"A non profit clay collective with classes, memberships and pottery for sale. Run by many dedicated , friendly and artistic volunteer/potters. Truly a unique place in this area. A good place to learn as a beginner or long time clay artist."
