Reviews of Huntington Memorial Library
"Beside reserving and borrowing books, CDs, DVDs, etc., having public WiFi and computers available, they also have great programs for kids."
"What's not to love? A beautiful Hometown Library with a friendly and helpful staff."
"besides having multiple public accessible computers they do have a public restroom as well in the upper part of the library they have a 3D model printer downstairs they have a kids Wing that besides having clear book bags preset with a specific topic of books for the kids to read they also have worksheets with upcoming events and they do private events one example they had a wedding held in Library basement you are able to print off papers as well as make copies I believe you can also send fax from this location as well from library staff..We had our first wedding at HML this weekend and better yet, it was your favorite library clerk! Alex Benjamin"
"There's a library parking lot, but I missed the driveway into it (across the street from Kwik Fill). We ended up in the 2 hour public parking. The librarians were very nice and professional. The kids' area was great."
"I love this library. My son and I go every week and there is a wonderful selection. But when we went this past Monday, we did not have a good experience. We went to the kids room and I was only there for 15 minutes when one of the staff came into the room and informed us that the chairs were all put away for a reason, that we weren't supposed to be hanging out but rather grabbing our books and leaving. I had 6 books picked out and in my bag, and i was just grabbing a couple more books and wrapping up. I can't just grab books and go, I need to look through them and make sure that its a book my son would enjoy. I didn't feel that 15 minutes was a long time for someone who is looking through books. I also was the only one there at the time, so I didn't understand why I was being rushed. We weren't doing anything wrong, and I was reading the books to my son to make sure its a book he would enjoy since he can't read himself. I enjoy this library, but I don't feel like all the staff there are kid-friendly. I feel that they don't always make me and my son feel welcome. That's not every staff there, but just a couple. The one staff, Ariel is always very welcoming and kind."
