I grew both as a football player and as a young man through my experience at Milford and I can't thank the coaches enough for their dedication to not only my success, but the entire team's success. This school has produced many NFL players and hundreds of D1 athletes, but more importantly it has helped mold many more teenage boys into young men. Between Coach Chap and Coach Bowen helping put up numbers on offense and Coach Stew and Coach Wise operating a crushing defense, our time together was an experience I'll never forget. "I’ve seen the good and the bad press about Milford before I got to the original Milford Academy in Milford ,CT. From there, I watched a legend by the name of coach Bill Chaplick come and change the whole culture of that place. If you didn’t know what a D1 football schedule looked like Coach Chap would make you get familiar. I was a student and player at Milford from 2000-2002. Couldn’t believe I made the all decade team of 2000. So many football legends have come to this program from nothing to something. I’ll always give thanks to the school and coach Chaplick for giving me my opportunity. I received a Big Ten football scholarship to Indiana University 2003-2005 along with teammate Tywan Freeney.
