"First I should say, Mr. Mustafa is quite correct! What is here listed as a church IS more of a playground for grandkids. That is because it is not the CHURCH facility--which burned to the ground and is being restored for our return (2635 E. 23rd St.). The property shown here IS our mailing address but its principal function is as a parsonage and office for the pastor and his family. (The taxes, by the way, about 1300 per year, are much below market. I'm sure Mr. Mustafa does not ask the City of New York to charge him MORE than he is required to pay. Perhaps I'm wrong?) Until we return to the church facility around the corner, which housed our worship since 1983, we're meeting at 271 Avenue U, 2 blocks west of McDonald, at 1:30 on the Lord's Day. Mr. Mustafa is more than welcome, as are his and my grandchildren."
