Reviews
"(This review was written at around New Years, 2022) The mass itself is fine, and I hear that the Spanish mass is very good. However, the website mass times are completely inaccurate and not updated. The website’s mass times have not been updated in a while which leads to a lot of confusion and missed masses. For instance, when I came in last week during the English mass hours shown on the website, the spanish mass was happening. Also, I came to this church last summer during the website’s English mass hours and instead the Italian mass was occurring. I asked a worker and he told me that English masses were not available yet, apparently during this period English masses were not being held at all. That was a little odd because masses in the vernacular should always be available. Additionally, their call menu options doesn’t include their mass times neither. Also, the mass time for new year day is not on their website; mass is held on a different hour on this day. When the pandemic started, many people were calling the church because they wanted to know whether masses would still be held. The priest dismissed these as “stupid” questions. Although one can understand that he was probably frustrated by so many calls, it was unnecessary to call the questions stupid because people were really concerned about mass."
"I use to go to this church years ago. I won’t go back again! I came on New Years Day for mass. There were chairs, strollers, wagons, and people blocking the doorways. Clearly this is a fire hazard and not safe with the virus going around. It was SO crowded I couldn’t get inside (didn’t wanna try, way too many people)! They no longer speak English. I was hoping to go to an Ash Wednesday mass. Looking at the bulletin, they mentioned nothing about it being Ash Wednesday and had no special mass. It SO sad that this church has gone down hill."
"I really have to give my honest review about this church. I had my daughters baptism here when I came to give the first payment I followed the directions that where given to me from the “ man in charge” I asked him everything that need to be asked since I am an event planner and have 13 years of experience. The man told the charge for cleaning after the party would cost me $500 which I thought it was insane. That’s the first thing i Should’ve seen as “fishy” since the first day. I told him I won’t need it and just continued to what we had agreed. The day of the party their was a baptism before my party started. They gave me a time for the decorator which cost me $1000 to start and they did not let her start until 2 hrs after which she had to hurry and only had time to decorate the tables. She told me that the lady in charge of the rental space told her she had to wait and that I knew this. The decorator didn’t know what to do that I had to come in and help her the finish wasn’t what I was agreed because my invites started to come had to tell her to just finish what she could. Everything that day was a complete desastes and I was lied to by people who worked in a church. Some of my invited heard the story and told me that this place had a bad reputation for being unpunctual. I did not deserve to have a party the way it was."
