Reviews
"A treasure of a bookstore. I ordered online and it got here early, tightly wrapped and heavily cushioned. My book (a novel by J M Barrie) was 124 years old, in very good shape, and only cost $15 including postage & handling. This store is fantastic and I am looking over their website to do as much business with them as I can."
"I Was not at the store but an online order through ABE Books. Order was shipped very quickly. The book came wrapped in plastic, that was then wrapped in newspaper and then inside a bubble envelope. The staples were even taped over. Book was as described in fact even better. Definitely will look into buying from this dealer again."
"There's alot of interesting books especially baseball, military, aviation/navy history, vintage gospel, lots and lots of hymns! Definitely check out if you are in Cooperstown area."
"Terrific store, even if you’re not a baseball fan. But if you are, they’ve got the largest selection of baseball books I’ve ever seen— shelves upon shelves— and neat memorabilia like team scorecards, yearbooks, and media guides. The selection of non-baseball books is less amazing but still good. I came away with a history book and two crime novels (one by Elmore Leonard that I haven’t read and didn’t own already, which is a rare find)."
"Above average used bookstore with more collectables than bestsellers. The store is packed, so much so that books are everywhere, even in stacks on the floor, which is great if you are a book lover. Both my husband and I found books to purchase. The individual shelves are clearly marked with subject matter but the layout of the sections wasn't completely clear to me, and we didn't realize that some sections were in the vestibule outside the entrance doors."
