"Mayor extended the unity party until 11pm. I am all for the party but even a 10pm stop time is WAY TOO LATE. I live next door and it vibrated my building almost all day. Car alarms going off all day. While covid+ myself and my family, including a three year old, were responsible and stayed home but we got zero rest all day. The flashing lights scared my kid so much after dark cause his bedroom is on that side of the apartment facing the Ammon Labs parking lot. Absolutely despicable to put the residents of E Blancke under these conditions. Idgaf that it's a Saturday. I was told his office is open but no answer. I will be filing a comaint. There are numerous young children in this building that were disturbed for 12 hours with music that absolutely should never have been that loud in the first place. I didn't complain until it was 10:23pm and the music was still thumping and the pd told us it was extended?!?!?! Reprehensible! If you want a 12 hour party start it earlier because people need rest."

"I am a Nj Transit bus operator and I would like to thank your office for hiring the cleaner at the Linden train station. I drive the 94 line from Orange to Linden and at one point the restroom at the Linden train station was so dirty I would go all the way to the quick check, last week I was running behind schedule and could not make it there so I went to Linden station (against my better judgement)..I walked in and that restroom was spotless I was so pleased, I looked around to see who was working to personally thank them for doing such a wonderful job. I met a nice man name Jerry who introduced himself i thanked him and told him I had to make it known the wonderful job he was doing. The Linden train station is now my goto place for my personal needs....Thank you Jerry keep up the good work."
