"What a beautiful Catholic Church hidden in the milieu of Canarsie. Not too far from exit 13 on the Belt Parkway. The cross on the wall serves as a reminder of Jesus Christ as the center of our life. It's a must see Church. If you have never visited....put it on your list. With a new pastor in charge and a vibrant community...this church will continue to spread the gospel and attract the flock!"
"Grew up here first communion very peaceful beautiful church"
"I have been a part of this church since I was a baby. I had the blessing of attending the grammar school and also getting married. What a full circle for sure. Everyone is very loving and kind. The masses are never more than an hour long and parking is ample. The sermons are always right to the point and truly the word of God."
"The Pastoring and Acoustic are great!"
"This the coldest, most unwelcoming Catholic church I have ever had the misfortune to attend. And I DID try to stick it out because of the proximity to my home. It is definitely a beautiful, peaceful church BUT that's it. It's basically a dead church. Nothing happens here. No fellowship. No community outreach. No revivals. No missions. Occasionally the Felipinos host a few events, but those are few and far between. They also have St. Jude Novena weekly, Stations of the Cross during Lent and First Friday devotions. However, if the Monsignor is doing the novena, once again, short and not so sweet. Before you blink twice it's over. There are 2 priests here. The Monsigneur's sermons tend to be short, to the point and as boring as the day is long. The junior priest's sermons are interesting, thoughtful and relevant, but it's hit and miss if you get him at your Mass. You used to be able to sit with the Eucharist for Adoration in the chapel, but due to budget issues their hours are now severely cut back. How sad is that? Pray for this church. I doubt it will be around much longer."
