Welcome to the East 4th Street Community Garden, a vibrant oasis located at 171 East 4th Street in Brooklyn, New York. Nestled in the heart of the Kensington and Windsor Terrace neighborhoods, our community garden is more than just a park—it's a hub for creativity, relaxation, and community connection.

Join us for an array of engaging programs and events designed to inspire and nurture both young and old. Marybeth and Micky are excited to offer a unique bookmaking and writing program for kids of all ages and writing levels. Let your child's imagination flourish in this creative haven!

Discover tranquility with our monthly self-compassion-focused guided meditations, held in the serene surroundings of the garden. These mindfulness practices are designed to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression by fostering gentle kindness towards oneself through body awareness, words, and imagery. Mark your calendar for our upcoming sessions on August 25th, September 15th, and October 13th from 10:30 am to 11:15 am. Please note that if it rains, meditations will be rescheduled for the following week.

This weekend, don't miss our Ukulele Workshop with César Rodriguez on August 3rd and 4th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Bring your ukulele and learn to play in a fun, supportive environment. We've also added four more workshop dates: June 22nd, June 29th, July 20th, and July 27th, 2024.

Families are invited to join us for a free music gathering for babies and kids courtesy of the Flying Teapot. Bring a blanket and enjoy the tunes! Additionally, we're offering a free tot yoga class on Thursday, June 27th at 5:30 pm. Bring your preschool-age child along with a towel or mat for a joyful yoga experience.
