"I live the area and walk my dog every single day the same route- which includes walking through this parking lot between the church and this building. There is a small area of grass that my dog sniffs and walks through on our way to the public park behind the building - as there really isn’t a lot of grass in the area. Today on our walk this man comes screaming at me out of the office telling me that I’m not allowed to walk through the grass and to leave immediately. I tell him that my dog isn’t doing anything wrong and this area is not deemed “private” as there are no trespassing signs or a private fence. He continues to yell and scream at me in the parking lot. Mind you this is the second time he has spoken to me incredibly rude and the first time he laughed it off on his way next door to the church insisting that my dog “isn’t allowed to be there” but chose not to make a scene since the parking lot was full of people. I’m unsure of this man’s name or role- but if he is in a position of leadership at this church and office building then he should be ashamed of himself speaking to a young woman who is by herself and clearly not in the wrong."
