Ellis Transportation Shuttle 5322 Church Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11203

"I rarely write reviews but I feel compelled to warn anyone about taking this service. I had booked a round trip ahead of time for transports between JFK and LGA. On the first leg, when I called to let them know I had arrived, they said that the shuttle was running late. I had a long layover, so timing wasn’t an issue, but I ended up waiting 1.5 hours longer before the driver finally showed up. And on my return flight home, when I called again to tell them I was ready for pick up, they let me know that they were not running the shuttle for the rest of the night. I was left stranded and had to pay for a very expensive Uber. I don’t understand how these people are still in business."

"Horrible experience if I could give it a 0 I would. Booked a shuttle service way in advance and they cancelled it only a few hours before by sending an email. Called them and the lady could care less telling me to just get a taxi and ended up hanging up on me. I would not recommend them one bit horrible customer service and needless to say since they cancelled my shuttle pick up time due to supposedly van not working and they had just realized it at the last minute I would not call them reliable or trust their services, book elsewhere."

"Despite previous reviews, I found ETS to be prompt and reasonably priced! We took a shuttle between LGA and JFK without any trouble. Driver was on time, navigated traffic, and dropped us off. He didn't help load or unload bags, which I'm hoping was because we're young and able-bodied. But someone expecting that level of service may be disappointed. The only trick is knowing you should (have to?) confirm your pick-up location as stated in the confirmation email. I made a reservation day-of for a Saturday afternoon pick-up and they promptly answered the phone and charged my card."

"LGA to JFK they were 40 minutes late and I almost missed my flight. When they finally show up the driver is moving at a snail’s pace, unconcerned that he’s way behind schedule. JFK to LGA I called from the airport and they told me the driver was “about an hour” behind schedule, so I took an Uber. We’ll see if they actually refund that ride as promised."

"Definitely not helpful, flew from Texas and there are no flights to Newark Airport, so I was informed to take the shuttle, only to call and be told there were done running shuttles for the day, why, when I wanted to ask another question, the person hung up. There should be a more customer friendly liason for travelers not from New York."
