Reviews
"I'm surprised because this location is always full of confusion nd packed. I was in and out without issues. I will go back at the same time 4 now on. Staff still have all the attitudes in the world"
"Horrible the absolute worst. They change the phone number and don't update it on the website. You really have to search for a working number. Then they hang up on u or leave u on hold. I don't get how this has been this way for YEARS. And this is a heavy POC area. It's not fair we get treated like this cause I'm sure they get their mail with no issue. WE WANT BETTER. WE DESERVE BETTER."
"Just go automated. These people don’t work or delivery anything but pieces of paper. Nasty attitudes in the post office. Maybe needs more white people in the area to cancel this post office and start another. But let these people go like don’t send them no place else to ruin other post offices. Master post person should be ashamed of herself to even want to associated with such wretchedness and disgust. Can’t wait to move form this area."
"Once again the mail carrier left my package in front of my apartment door and as always my packages are stolen. I try to call this unprofessional ghetto post office and they either answer then hang up or never answer the phone. When I go in person the postal workers at the window are very nasty and always on their cell phones. This Saint John’s Post Office needs to be shutdown. I guess this is the treatment you get in the ghetto. It’s sad that I go to other neighborhoods to conduct my postal business. I’m treated much better than the post office in my neighborhood. It’s really sad a business is ran in such way."
"If I could give zero stars, I would. They constantly say they attempted to deliver packages, and there was no secure location, but they don't even try. I've seen countless people complain about this at the location. I also know that to be true because I work from home, so I'm literally in my apt when they lie about the attempt being made. Mind you, I live less than 2 blocks away, so it seems like it would be simple to do their job. I have to go collect my own packages every time this happens and the agents inside are hit or miss. Don't go at 9 am, as they likely won't have even opened the gate yet. This picture is from the first week of March 2023 when I was in line outside until around 9:15, and the desk workers weren't ready to accommodate customers until 9:25. Also, double-check your packages. When I picked up my last one, the agent gave me someone else's package as well, and I didn't notice until later. The recipients name doesn't resemble mine, nor does any part of their address, so the level of service leaves much to be desired. This has frankly been the case for years, and our neighborhood deserves better - not to be marginalized like this."
