She allowed me to retrieve my phone. Thanks again Jasmine for your help."

"My stored property at Life Storage located at 163 Sackman Street in East Brooklyn NY was put up for auction and removed by facility management without any prior notification. I spoke with two store managers who were both incredibly dismissive of the entire situation while making weak claims about trying to reach me regarding the auction. My phone records prove ABSOLUTELY no calls were attempted in the weeks leading up to the sale of my belongings. I had been coordinating a payment through HRA in regards to a pending foreclosure and the store general manager had assured me that an auction would take two months to process. I was given less than a month and WAS NEVER NOTIFIED of a pending auction date and thus deprived of any opportunity to reconcile the account. Had I been advised I would have made it an immediate priority to resolve the outstanding balance. The failure of the staff to uphold their legal responsibilities has caused me and my family considerable distress and comes at a large personal and economic expense to us. The negligent handling of our belongings has resulted in the loss of all of my clothing, books, specialized equipment, two computers, external hard drives, business documents including certificates and awards as well personal property that was acquired over decades of hard work. Priceless and irreplaceable family heirlooms, including my wedding dress, were all stolen from me. I would not trust the staff at Life Storage at 163 Sackman Street with any possessions of value or personal importance under any circumstances. Absolute worst experience ever."
