"Amazing place just the elderly are so rude and controlling of the younger people like they always yell at us."
"This is good place for Salah. This masjid prays all 5 daily prayers. Very good."
"The women do not control their children. Praying my salah they’ve jumped over my head. One child in particular was running back & forth in front of the ranks and their mothers do nothing about it but watch their terrible behavior. This is my second time coming to this masjid with disgusting behavior. Mahgrib prayer was prayed almost at ishaa as they’ve had a full Iftar before salah… don’t recommend this masjid if you’re a Muslim"
"Local Masjid with majority Bengali attendance. UPDATE 4/5/24 I have been attending for a few years. The trend of using a lot of time to raise funds is very frustrating. Yes, fund raising is necessary but balance the time with salat and beneficial info (kuthba). I spend more time listening to begging for donations than anything else. I have invited family and friends to attend Taraweeh with me and every time I convince people to come to the masjid with me they spend too much time fund raising and it pushes people away from coming to the masjid. My family literally tells me "I don't want to go because all they do is talk about money". This is very shameful to me as I keep inviting them to come to the masjid and they never have a good experience. It makes me look bad and most of all it makes the house of Allah look bad to people that are still developing their Iman. My humble request is that I can put up with all the fund raising and I give whenever I can. But please try to balance for the newcomers, the people who are just beginning to come to the masjid. Make them feel comfortable and don't frustrate them. Speak to them about good things, that will benefit them in their lives. Islam is a religion of balance. Allah knows best."
