"inbetween skyscrapers, there is this wooden structure. And it reminds us to think about what was. Definitely worth looking at"
"Shrine of America’s first saint’s home. A nice place for midday catholic mass."
"I have never been inside this small chapel, but Just the mere sight of it fills me with awe and wonder. It is at the tip of Manhattan and is a great invitation to the city. Surrounded by flashy skyscrapers, it reminds me that even amidst capitalism and hybris spirituality might find a space. It is dedicated to the first person born in the US canonized by the catholic Church. A must see while in New York."
"A beautiful oasis of peace in the midst of the hustle and bustle of New York City. It is SO special to have this simple, modest church, housed in the location of the original home of St. Elizabeth (first American-born Saint!) in-between skyscrapers. Not only does it remind us of our past, but it gives us a beautiful opportunity to take a breath from the noise and to listen to Our Lord as we pray before him in the Eucharist. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us!"
"Pleasant and quite. Would love some literate or even a guild for the kids. Please remember this is a place of worship.... be respectful"
