"I have used CKH several times in the past, but last weekend I reached out and left a voicemail because we had water in our basement due to a clogged drain in our floor downstairs. A few hours later Colin reached back out (on a weekend) to let me know that it was not a problem he could fix since it was most likely sewer related, and gave me the information for Onondaga County and said to reach out to them while also giving me the contact information. 2 hours later Onondaga County had left my house, the drain was unclogged and the water was gone. The fact he took the time on the weekend to get back to me, knowing it was not a problem he could fix and therefore would not be compensated for it, while giving me helpful information was above and beyond. As I stated at the start of the review, we have used him a couple times to fix problems and he does a great job with that, but I felt like this past weekend was worthy of a special shout out - highly recommend CKH!"

"After years of searching, we have finally found a plumber who provides excellent service at a reasonable price. Colin and Rich have replaced a toilet, installed new faucets and stems in a shower, replaced an outside spicket adding a turn off valve inside the house, and tapped a water line to run copper tubing to our new refrigerator. In every case, the job was done in a professional and timely manner at a fair price. We highly recommend CKH plumbing. As a footnote, they were recommended by M D Ewald Heating & Air Conditioning, another outstanding company to work with. UPDATE: They recently installed a new dishwasher for us. As a new homeowner, I needed to start finding professionals I could trust to do the work that was bound to come up on my 60-year old home. Couldn't have found anyone better! I've had them run a new gas line into my kitchen to switch my electric cook top to gas, extend the line over to the laundry area so when my dryer goes I can switch that, too, and also replace my water heater. They were timely, respectful and the work they've done is fantastic. Cannot recommend enough."
