NYC Civil Court

"Today I went to this Court to file a suit against my landlord in small claims! As a result, Mr. Chris, Ms. Ghram and, supervisor Ms. Deanna all attempted to deter me from filing my claim! Mr. Chris and supervisor Deanna both told me "to file my suit/claim in Nassau County instead of Queens County", as a result of the landlord's address, even though my place of residence is in Queens! I showed Ms. Deanna that i went before a judge relating to a ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE with the same claim and same Defendant. I explained to Ms. Deanna that "the judge didn't have a problem with me filing paperwork in Queens County, so how is it that you guys have a problem with me filing this suit in Queens County"? Ms. Deanna then replied "show me proof". Once i showed her the judge decision then she decided to file my paperwork! Unbelievable!!! Ms. Ghram asked me if I still live at the residence when I asked her for a form to file my claim, even though my current living situation is irrelevant to me filing a claim against my landlord! Please watch out for these clerks and they're strategic tactics to deter you from filing your paperwork and getting the justice that you deserve!!!"

"Horrible jury duty experience. The informative videos had terrible audio meanwhile all the employees were being loud yelling, laughing, and socializing which made it harder to hear so I had no idea what the videos were saying. The audio was so bad it sounded like gibberish. You’d think with peoples fates on the line they’d take it a little more seriously. After the informative videos they proceeded to play a game show with ads for the next 4 hours with no option to wait somewhere else. It felt like hell on Earth but at least I’m done for the next 6 years."

"There was an error on my marriage certificate May 29.2024. Return on may 30. 2024 to Queens Civil court Security told me i have to make an appointment to go inside. the earliest appointment available online for Following working day was June 3, 2024. Went in the office june 3. 2024 The Supervisor on duty told me she cant do nothing about the correction. Supervisor advised me to go to Manhattan office. I went there Manhattan office told me to return to Queens Civil court. Can Someone help me please. what can I do to resolved this. Angela in the front office treated me like left overs."
