"A little underwhelming. We went for the sensory exhibit they have going on and the best part was the mini-light exhibit, which was fantastic. The other stuff I feel was not really worth the price of admission. Mostly some light interactive exhibits that were cool, but I would have preferred to see them if the price was lower. Some of the claims they can make, like having one of the largest 4d sound rooms is cool, but the exhibits need to do more with infrastructure they have. I would love to revisit this place if they open up and have more stuff like the light exhibit. It is a nice spot to kill a few hours though."
"Of the 15 rooms, I only found 4 to be intriguing. The space is very well curated but a number of the exhibits are underwhelming. For example, the robotic arm that creates a minimal pattern in sand left me thinking “a lot of engineering for uninteresting results”. The fake flower room was terrible. I don’t know what it is striving to relate. Not impressive. Now, the rooms that made use of light and mirrors in different configurations were mesmerizing and captivating. I loved these. In the final analysis, I guess it was worth the $53 to see this once. But once is enough. Not a place you’d revisit I wouldn’t think."
"Such a surprisingly breathtaking intensive exhibit with so many different rooms. Definitely worth it!"
"Worthwhile, but is it $50+ worthwhile? Not sure about that. Pretty small 1) people sensitive to high pitched noises should avoid the sound room. 2) cut foam furniture needs maintenance and looked worn even in previews"
"Mercer Labs is undoubtedly the most worthwhile experience of my trip to New York this time. Its visual and auditory impact surpasses all similar exhibitions I have seen before. The unique atmosphere and carefully designed displays here are absolutely unforgettable. If you are looking for a truly soul-stirring travel destination, Mercer Labs is definitely a choice not to be missed. I highly recommend experiencing this wonderful journey firsthand."
