Reviews
"They need to put this Post Office out of its misery. They can not even get mail into your mailbox - it ends up on the floor of the lobby, in someone else's mailbox, or disappears entirely. They removed the blue mailbox that was outside! Now you can't even MAIL A LETTER anymore! WOW! I tried to do a Change of Address at this branch. Hahahaha - that was funny. Submitted it twice, never happened. My wife and I both have had packages just disappear recently. Where did they go? "Probably in someone else's mailbox." - actual quote from an employee at this branch. So unbelievably, and shamelessly inept and pathetic. If this post office is a reflection of our U.S. government agencies than I'm more terrified than ever... Thank goodness I work uptown where there are real, actual post offices that do things like deliver mail, deliver packages, have mailboxes. Foreign concepts down here in Dime's Square. Actually, this should be renamed "The Dime's Square Brach Post Office" and just stop doing mail altogether - start selling legal marijuana, skate gear and hosting talentless EDM DJ events. You'll fit right in!"
"The employees are the Kindest people but I do not understand management at this office I go get My mail everyday at the Post Office and very often send packages and Mail the Lines are dreadful..for such a big Post office there should at least be floaters that can make themselves available to service customer at least at the busiest time of Day which is late afternoon. This is the offices Hugest area of Opportunity. I have even turned around and had to go to another Post office which was very inconvenient..if you only have Two people servicing the front counter..limit the size of the post office .Makes no sense that people should wait so long."
"I had to wait on a line for 30 minutes to send a certified letter. My complaint with this address was that this large location with multiple "Service Windows" only had 1 person working in place of all the windows. It was so bad after 20 minutes and a line that reached back to the entrance that they made a phone call for assistance. Then, after the second agent arrived, they could service customers much faster."
"The post office at 128 east Broadway is horrible. They refuse to deliver packages and say attempted delivery. Everyone should report the post office to the BBB because this is out of hand. They do not care about the customers or how mail gets delivered. Several times my post man leaves the mail abandoned in stairwells or in the lobby of my building. He has put Chinatown's mail in my building. He needs to be fired"
"Worst post office on earth. Everyone should file a complaint on usps website. We either don't receive any mail for weeks, if we do - it's other people's mail, packages are often lost or damaged. To send out mail & packages we bring it to midtown post office just to avoid this post office as it will take an hour long wait and they will most likely lose your mail."
