As a dedicated fire station and the largest Firefighters Union in the state, we have been committed to advocating for the rights and safety of our members since our inception in 1896. Operating 24/7, our motto, “There When You Need Us,” reflects our unwavering dedication to supporting our brave firefighters as they protect the City of Newark.

In collaboration with the City of Newark, Newark Firemen FCU, Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and the Division of Pensions and Benefits, we ensure the well-being and security of our members. Our elected board is steadfast in its mission to uphold the safety and rights of our firefighters, enabling them to return home safely after their shifts to enjoy their lives.
