"I don’t think I’ve ever done this for a city agency and I’m not sure if I will regret it, but my recent encounter with Animal Control was great. We have a cat on our property that got into a fight with a raccoon and was injured. We actually feed the cat, but can’t take it in (my household is allergic). They came, got the cat, gave it a rabies booster and looked at its injured leg (it was a TNR cat) and kindly released it back to us. They knew we were worried and kindly updated us on the vet assessment."

"don’t call this place to save animals because they don’t care. i called yesterday to report an injured bird before closing time and they said they would pass by today. i called today at 8am to remind them of the bird and that he needs help and i had to give my info all over again. this was all for nothing. they never came nor called. they gave us false hope. the bird died today. i’m at a loss for words. i understand it’s a bird and there’s plenty of them but if he was never going to get picked up then we shouldn’t have been told he would. just horrible."

"The license staff reached out to me when I sent a renewal payment for $15 for my deceased dog (because it was late and I owed for the portion of the year he was still alive) - I had missed a voicemail left by a nice lady there and therefore didn't return the call. Despite this, they returned the money order. Thought that was lovely and beyond the call of duty."

"I called in to ask for help with getting a pet and the man who answered the phone said they are "not trained for it" how are you not trained and you are employed with animal control!!!!! You should be trained for all situations when it comes to animals as you are working with "ANIMAL CONTROL""
