"Had a very bad expirience. It took double the time planned which caused issues at the new location. Finally, the broke some of my items. One of the things that they broke, they realized they broke on the spot and took some pictures and said they would file a claim. There was no claim filed Clutter than wait for the customer to file the claim even though they knew they did something wrong they don't wanna pay for it, the things of mine that they broke $87 water filter that they decided to reimburse me $12 for. They left my personal items strewn down the street for anyone to take because they were moving. I will never use or recommend this moving service."

"Clutter came. Clutter complained they didn’t have room in their van for my stuff. Accused me of lying. Clutter left without saying goodbye. Accused me of lying again. My stuff is still here. Clutter is not and I will not invite them back. They have invited me to file a claim to express my dissatisfaction but I’ll just lodge it here, and find another company. Thanks (for nothing) clutter, and for making me waste a day off."

"They obliterated my 65” TV, dinning table, coffee table, TV stand, and broke a large mirror. They also charge a flat fee of $630 plus $187 per hour and send a team of two people per move when most companies send three. They took them 7 hours to pack my apt and 5.6 hours to unpack, which is 3x more expensive than what Piece of Cake charged my girlfriend (we both moved out of a one bedroom apt at the same time). None of her items were broken. Just use any other company, this one will destroy your things so you’ll end up paying moving and storage for things that are going to the trash. Their top insurance maxes at only 2.5k so most definitely don’t move anything with a collective value over this amount because trust me the chances of breaking are very very high."

"Terrible experience with this business today after having been a customer for many years. Emily the driver ditched the appointment. I called the customer service center who was also unhelpful. On top of that they charged me $200 for a ‘cancel’ fee when I had never cancelled and we were home awaiting them to get the boxes out. Unacceptable experience"

"Absolutely awful experience. I signed up with make space before they were bought by clutter , I kept stuff in storage for 3 years with them. I just moved and paid a $190 move in fee only to find that they treated my stuff with absolute disrespect. They threw my $3k mattress directly on the streets of Hoboken NJ with no cover , they punctured a hole in my headboard , they lost my pier 1 import accent chair, and ruined 2 decorative pieces. Despite thousands of dollars of damage , they are offering $150 in reimbursement. This doesn’t even cover the expenses paid to have my items discarded after clutter ruined my stuff and refused to take it back for disposal. I understand I did not purchase the protection plan but I went into this thinking they would treat my items with some decency. Anyone buying a new place / moving knows that it’s very expensive and exhausting. This experience just added on to the trouble. I truly wish I saved myself all the rental / moving costs associated with this company because it was an absolute nightmare. If you’re reading this, I am telling you - learn from my experience and stay as far away as possible."
