"Clean, great for families, and pet friendly. They have bags for you to clean up after your furry child. Playground for kids to play. Restrooms are available (clean) and also has a picnic area. Lots of parking spaces."
"tried to take an uber here and they dropped us off at the liberty science center. The path through the park to the liberty island ferry has almost no sign so I guess you have to know that it is here at an abandoned train station. Even with the internet and cell phones, it was unusually hard to find the info. great place to walk around and good views."
"Statue of Liberty is a must visit for anyone visiting NY. In case you are put up in New Jersey, you càn take a Ferry from Liberty park in New Jersey to reach the statue rather than going all the way to Battery Park in NY. This park is quite well kept and has good frequency of ferries. An advance reservation is recommended though."
