"Worst post office in New York City. The passport section really sucks. Had a 11:30 appointment and the rude B!tch seems very miserable she had no energy what so ever and was very sluggish. She literally told us the cameras weren’t working and refused to answer any questions we had about the application. Avoid this place better off going to Narnia for a passport application."
"The passport service is HORRIBLE. These workers do less than the bare minimum, and have an attitude problem on top of that. They refuse to answer questions appropriately and just keep mumbling to themselves when asked something (such as which window to go to, how much the money order should be, etc.). They discuss the previous customers' paper work submitted for a passport application with 0 regards for privacy. This is absolutely ridiculous, and the most frustrating part is that things will never change, because they know people have to come to these places to get a passport issued, so there is no incentive of improving their services."
"It rained heavily today. My family of four got up early and called an Uber to go to apply for passports. We arrived at about 10:17, but unexpectedly the passport window was closed. We had checked the Passport Walk-In Hours before (Wednesday 10:00 am-1:00 pm). Later, we went to the pick-up window and asked a lady. The lady was very rude and impolite. She told us loudly that no one was working today. I was speechless. Such a big post office had only two people working. I was very disappointed with this post office and left in a bad mood."
"I came here on a Thursday evening an hour and a half before closing time to send few envelopes with tracking numbers and expedited shipping. There were two employees at the desk one was wearing a mask, and he was courteous and friendly, and went above and beyond to explain to me what I should be doing. The other employee who appears to be Asian kept on grunting, mumbling, and I even heard him cursing while working on his computer! he had a terrible attitude towards the other customers that were standing in line ahead of me. fortunately, I got lucky and I’ve been called by the friendly employee wearing a mask."
"Beautiful post office constructed in 1937. The interior is amazing. The murals on the interior were executed between 1937 and 1939 by Kindred McLeary (1901-1949)."
