"I wasted a half hour trying to get a very simple document notarized. The notary had no idea what she was supposed to do. Initially she tried to dissect the documents, then she tried to tell tell me what I should do INSTEAD of finding a notary, and finally walked away to ask two people for permission before coming back and saying she cannot notarize the documents. I drove to Citibank 3 minutes away and got everything notarized without a problem. Two lessons I learned: 1. The Citi branch is better than the Santander branch in understanding simple transactions and investments. 2. If someone tries to impose their unsolicited opinion upon you as their client, they clearly are not a professional and have no idea how to do their job."
