"I applied for the removal of PMI, but they declined my request. They told me it was because of the value of my house, which is not true. My house has much more value than their assessment; worst bank."
"For the last few months I was contemplating opening an account in Richmond County Savings Bank on Jewett Ave and Waters. Never happened, but today I was looking for a notary public and thought that this bank might have one. To my surprise, older bank employee, said that if I do not own an account in a bank, the notary cannot help me. I mentioned that for the last 20 years I have a safety deposit box with the bank, but NO. Such a shame that a local bank will refuse a neighbor in need. I do not think I will be opening an account with them."
"Not happy , to many branches are still closed 10 months later . example Victory boulevard Location"
"My husband and I have banked with Richmond county savings bank for over 20 years. My husband is an RN on the front lines working 12 hour shifts daily .. he rushed to the bank to cash a check and the lady outside denied him access. He mentioned that he’s a first responder and his shift doesn’t allow him to make it here by 3 and he was hopeful when he drove by because there were still cars in line, that he could finally cash a check that needs to be cashed. She said no she was sorry, come back tomorrow we open at 9am. A little act of kindness can go a long way! And clearly this branch just didn’t have it in them. It’s really a shame, so now he cashed his check with chase instead."
"Just about everything."
