"Very disappointed with the service provided by the Jersey City location; previous manager was helpful and would always return calls, the new manager is not helpful, called at least 10 times over last 6 months and was told each time that manager would return my call, never happened. Additionally, my account was automatically debited without any notification. And the new manager asks you to visit the Branch for every small task, including change of address, opening a CD etc.."
"This Bank is not for business. The banking on line is poor and you cannot do any wire without having to go physically to the bank . This small bank had before some friendly relation and was understanding of his customers, and so professional . The new manager in Jersey City, K, is everything but this . I will not recommend this bank to any business owners"
"We were staying down the street at Residence Inn and needed change for the laundry. My wife, Jennie, walked in and asked to have $20 in quarters and the manager refused to make the exchange! He first asked if she was a customer, to which she answer she was not. Then he mentioned that the bank could not take the risk the bill would be a counterfeit and they would not be able to tell the difference, so he refused. As much as my wife tried, he refused to provide the service!! So, did he mean that he is completely sure his bank's customers don't traffic in counterfeit bills but my wife clearly looked like someone who might?!?! What else is a local bank in place for if not to service the public? It is a simple service we were seeking, and I am sure many of you reading this will say we are overreacting, but you only need to be refused service once to be convinced that it is a big deal. Needless to say, the experience shows a complete lack of customer centric service by this bank. It left us so infuriated that we will NEVER be a customer of this bank, we will recommend to family and friends to never to business with them, and we will ensure that we advise anyone who will listen to avoid them."
