"Seriously find another bank. Bank is always crowded, tellers are mostly friendly, but only move at one speed which is slow. I had a issue with a password lockout on my account. Took 5 weeks to resolve. Seriously find a smaller bank that appreciates you and cares about business. Do not go to PNC, all that have ever had any issues know my words are truse."
"They built a bank to look nice and so that the employees feel important but the branch never has money in the ATMs and onetime the atms we’re holding everyone’s card and timing out on January 20, 2024. I reported them to corporate and will be doing so routinely. They shouldn’t be able to treat minorities like this ..you wouldn’t find ATMs to be routinely empty in other neighborhoods."
"easily the worst banking experience of my lifetime. The bank accepted my paperwork (POA) for deposit of a large sum of money and refused to allow me to use the same to make a small withdrawal for my ill Mom. I had been making deposits for a few years because I was utilizing pnc as a savings bank and they are not really in the city. Each and every time I had Mom with me who suffers from Alzheimer's. I had an emergency and needed 10k, a small portion of what was on deposit, to pay a bill for Mom, the primary. I had never ever made a withdrawal and was now being told I could not make it. They cut off my access to my money and only said I could not make a withdrawal, when in fact they rendered the account completely no access and put a note on the account that I was being investigated for financial elder abuse. I had the banking commission deal with them & went right back to Citibank. They are not nice people and the New Jersey banking commission sided with me. How is it that you accept the deposit but refuse to honor the withdrawal request. BTW, I was told there was no way that that money was mine and they were right, it was my parent’s. Funny actually that as an African-American family it is routinely suspect if we are wealthy. I have never entered this bank since, I even processed the full and total withdrawal at a different PNC. Appalling and highly upsetting."
"When I first signed up with PNC 8 yrs. ago, I was told any ATM transaction fees from a bank other than PNC would be reimbursed to me; this worked for many years. I recently noticed I was being charged a $3.00 fee for using a ATM other than PNC. When I cab it over to PNC on main street, I frequently find the ATMs are not fully functioning. No deposits at this time; no cash withdrawal at this time, so I have no choice but do use another ATM. There was no notice that policy had changed or that PNC would be charging $3,00 for using ATMs outside of PNC, when I brought this to the attention of customer service, no real response. So in addition to paying $16.00 for cab fare, only to find I can't withdraw money, I am now being charged $3.00 for ATM fees for service PNC is unable to provide. I'm changing banks, I had enough. Its a ghetto branch, they make you feel like a caged animal by locking you in the vestibule. They don't do this is White neighborhoods. I now understand why they are closing branches."
