"I withdrew $700 from the ATM, and what was dispensed was $681... Someone who refilled the ATM machine replaced a twenty dollar bill for a one dollar bill so that the count would be correct if it were investigated. I informed the powers that be and they were helpful to a point. At first it felt like I was trying to get “one over” because they said that their ATM’s only allow a max of $500. After proving that I withdrew that the amount requested via my app, they started to listen what I had to say. I was told the proper procedure to file a claim because I don’t have an acct. with this bank. But I was adamant that an employee IS STEALING FROM YOUR BRANCH. Because a $20 bill was replaced with a $1 bill, and a count was made to check if its over/under, it would be pointless. Now its a situation of my word against the banks word. This WHOLE scenario happened in one single motion... I came in, I withdrew, I counted, it was incorrect, and I immediately went to the branch manager. I NEVER LEFT THE BANK."
