"Absolute worst bank ever! They randomly closed my account and told me it was because I need a business account (which they don’t offer). They never responded when I asked why I would need a business account when I never needed one with my last bank (Chase). Does everyone who gets direct deposits from the job need business account? They gave me a closing date and then closed it four days early and now I no longer have access to my money. I recommend anyone who has had or does have a problem with these guys to file a complaint with the New York State Department of Financial Services."

"I agree with the negative reviews here. During the new account application process online they told me to "link" an existing bank account to make the first deposit, which I did, then suddenly stopped the process and told me my account application was denied, with zero communication about whether or not my current bank was exposed to them. I am reporting them to the US Treasury OCC who oversees banks, and there is no way in hell I would bank with Quontic. They are customer service dumb and likely committing fraud."

"After weeks of complying with Quontic's requests and submitting everything in a timely manner for a refi, and receiving conditional approval with no follow-up for weeks from the unprofessional loan officer, Zarema, upon contacting their team regarding the status and next steps, I was informed by Abdul Rehman the refi program no longer exists, without any further explanation. Mind you, I had been working with them for approximately a month, and no one contacted me as a courtesy to let me know the program was no longer active! How rude and unprofessional... never again!"

"The worst banking experience I have ever had. My mortgage loan was transferred to a different bank while i’m in the middle of closing on my house trying to do a pay-off. Their customer service line is horrible with no professionalism whatsoever. Now i’m stuck in the middle of both deals between selling my house which I cant locate the loan and I have no funds for the new house. If you’re reading this Quontic, I would love to talk to you and resolve this issue if you would like to be a good business."

"I have had nothing but bad experiences with this bank. Extremely frustrating. First I had trouble accessing my debit account because the online banking only limited me to a certain amount, then when I had my debit card stolen, I asked for a replacement card. It said that it would take 7-10 days, but one month later it still hadn’t arrived. I had to switch banks because I couldn’t access my money. The fact that they didn’t have a physical location only amplified my frustration. If you want a bank that will make your life more difficult this is the one to go to."
