Bank of Hope 172 Main Street, Fort Lee, NJ 07024

"This bank is terrible. I had to call and wait five days just to withdraw my own money. One day, I tried to withdraw $5,000, but they only let me take out $2,000, claiming they didn't have enough money. Additionally, one evening, my account was overdrafted, and even though I went to the bank first thing in the morning to deposit money, they wouldn't waive the fee. The head office and the branch kept passing the responsibility to each other without any callbacks. This was my first time experiencing such an issue. They are also extremely rude, scolding their staff harshly in front of customers, which was embarrassing for me to witness. Do not use this bank. It's absurd that a bank provides such poor service that customers can't even access their own money promptly."

"I needed some assistance with a banking issue and happened to just run into an Assistant V.P. at the bank. While I'm pretty sure it was not her job to help me, she nonetheless took the time to figure out what I needed and how to get it accomplished. I wish I caught her name; and if I could, I would give that lady an extra gold star for all her help. It very much appreciated!"

"Good to park. Kind and courtesy staffs and they are clear give to customers a kind explanation. Especially loan consulting was very nice and detail. Confidential bank. good bank."

"Bank parking!! There is no clear sign not to park there, it’s a plaza parking, when you try to park close to the bank a “security” come to you and tells you not to park there, again no signs are present, when asked where are the signs the security points to a sign 7 spots away, this is a bank that can not afford proper signs but hires a security personal. I have casked the policy, explained the situation and was told, I can not be towed if sign does not clear says where one can not park. Basically you can not park where the sign is other spots are free to park. I come to this plaza often and if this happens again will call the police and file a harassment report."

"Not the bank, but their parking lot. They do not have proper signage. They do not allow customer to walk to Chase and get cash and come back to the cafe in the same mall because that's consider leaving the lot. ABC Towing will than tow your car for $220. This is the main reason this bank is surviving. Scamming patron who have no choice but to pick up the tab."
