"To be clear, the staff are very helpful and friendly and I highly appreciate them. I opened an account just a few months ago and never used it. I was given a debit card that I never once used or typed anywhere (online, text message, etc), and yet I had 2 instances of fraudulent activity show up. They were caught and blocked, but still really alarming. I've never had that issue with a debit card from other banks (credit card, yes). On top of that, I opened the account with a $20 deposit. When I closed, they said I actually OWED them $20, because it was negative due to "service charges". In other words, they charged me $40 in service charges in the short time it was open--for nothing. A really terrible and discouraging experience."
