At Riverhead High School, we believe in providing students with unique learning experiences that extend beyond the traditional classroom. Our AP Biology students recently shared their passion for science with local elementary schools, serving as teachers and inspiring younger learners through creative final projects. This hands-on approach empowers our students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings while fostering a love for lifelong learning.

We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our students, including David Brzozowski, a graduating senior who was awarded the prestigious 2023–2024 LISTEMELA Scholarship for his academic excellence and leadership. Our commitment to excellence is further demonstrated by our class of 2024, whose knowledge, passions, and talents have been cultivated through a supportive and enriching educational environment.

Our 3D Maker Club exemplifies our dedication to community involvement, having recently collaborated with Aquebogue Elementary School to create bilingual hallway signs using advanced 3D laser cutting technology. Additionally, our partnership with the Riverhead Rotary Club has led to the installation of a Rock and Shell Garden at the Northwell Health Cancer Institute, spreading kindness and hope within our community.

Riverhead High School is also dedicated to preparing students for the future. We recently hosted a career fair in collaboration with Peconic Bay Medical Center, providing students with valuable insights into healthcare professions. Our honors music ensembles have earned accolades for their talent and integrity, winning the 2024 Festivals of Music’s Esprit de Corps Award in Virginia Beach.
