Reviews
"This bookstore is a refreshing reminder of the magic of independent bookstores. I had a chance to speak with the owner and it is clear that this bookstore is a labor of love. Not only is there a huge selection of books on hand for every type of reader, but I was particularly impressed by the community feel of the bookstore. Check out the regular events such as author talks and signings, silent book club, and live music too! Let’s put Tiny Raccoons on our list of places to visit and revisit, very soon."
"I strolled into this cute little shop on my lunch break today and I had such a nice experience. When I walked in the place smelled like books , which I mean I know is probably typical for a book store but it really set the mood for my experience. I was greeted warmly when I walked in and spent some time looking over the breadth of used books . While I looked around a couple was chatting with the owner , it seemed like they were regulars and possibly good friends , and made the place feel a little more at home . I poked through a really well curated selection of new books , of which more than a few caught my eye , eventually I picked out the book “Nebraska “ , which I’m really excited to read . I noticed there were a bunch of cool bookmarks and local accoutrements up front (local bands cassettes, a donation jar for book related charity , cute raccoon themed totes etc. ) I chatted very briefly with the very kind, warm man behind the counter about cool old editions of books and getting back into reading . I’m really glad I stopped by , and I hope you do too if you’ve read all this blathering . Wonderful little shop , I’ll definitely be back !"
"This is by far my favorite book store. Not only is it cute and cozy but they have really cool events all of the time. I cannot recommend it enough! Also the owner is really nice. Definitely go and support them!"
"This is an awesome bookstore! Anytime I’ve gone there, the staff has been super helpful and kind. There is such a wide selection and the books are organized in a nice way. They also have books by local writers too, which is super cool! I’ll continue to do all my book shopping here. So happy to have a place like this near me!"
