Reviews
"i agree with Orlando, their librarian, Gabriella has too much power and treating alumni like dirt because of a sily librian with a large ASSet, clouding their judgment is unethical. Everyone deserves to be heard. Also St Joseph's has a reputation for discriminating against people who need assistance due to a disability. There are better universities and better libraries. As a professor, i say try other universities that treat students, and alumni better. i have tried to apply to St josephs many times, and i teach all buqiness classes with 30 years experience and a PhD and they never even reolied to my inquiries, unprofessional at best"
"Google review on St Joseph’s University This review is designed to expose a tort or wrongdoings by an academic library at St Joseph’s University. Last year on November, 17, 2023, as an alumni card in order to use the computer lab. When I arrived, the security guard mentioned an unknown policy that alumni must call first due to concerns with other alumni. Subsequently, I mentioned that I prefer to use the lab and not the library because of their employees, Gabriella Bonacasa-Giambone gossiped about me and I was trying to avoid any issues. A week later, I received a letter that stated I was forbidden from going on the campus grounds because that employee, Gabriela, made a false accusation that I was acting inappropriately. The letter just said an employee complained, but it was evident that it was Gabriella. Moreover, in the letter no date, time, or specific behavior was indicated in the letter. When I inquired about the specifics I was accused of, they refused to answer my questions on what I was accused of. Hence, they replied that the matter was closed. In a court of law, I am innocent until proven guilty and I am told my Miranda rights and what I am being accused of. When I requested a fair hearing, they denied my right to a fair hearing. Subsequently, they had an adjunct law professor email and write to me in order to intimidate me. I told him “You are not my lawyer or advocate; hence I am obliged to speak with you”. At the same time, I am grateful that I finally saw the true colours of my alma mater. Furthermore, this incident has allowed me to have the perseverance to advocate for others who are treated unfairly in this manner. Gabriella falsely accused me of sending inappropriate emails which I can prove is not true. Subsequently, her story kept changing which is a clear indication of a liar. For the record, she never gave me her phone number or personal email and the only emails I sent were related to tutoring and praising her family. It is tragic that St Joseph’s is allowing Gabriella to discredit the school. She must have some huge “ASSets” to allow her to call the shots. In closing, I will continue to advocate for my hearing. Moreover, I will continue to advocate for others with similar experiences. Overall, I give St Joseph’s a poor review on how they treat alumni."
