"when u need a home away from home and or just to admire the wonderful architecture ... walk past the demons and come in"
"Beautiful and lovely church! I loved to listen such an angelic choir and I felt very pleased to be in that magnificent service, helped me to feel myself very comfortable and with inner peace!"
"This is a beautiful catholic church nestled in midtown. The church itself is almost soundproof from the sounds of the streets. It is beautifully adorned with paintings of the crucifixion and antique stained glass that lets so many beautiful colors into the space. This church puts you in the mood for worship and reverence and I think it’s a good choice to check out whether you are visiting or looking for a local parish."
"A wonderful historic Roman Catholic church. Undergoing beautiful restoration (2019) The clergy and congregation's very warm and welcoming. The church gets many out-of-town visitors as the Port Authority Bus Terminal is right across 42nd Street. The famous "Father Duffy" World War 1 chaplain of the "fighting" 69th Infantry Regiment was the pastor of this church when he returned to America. In the 1940 movie The Fighting 69th, Father Duffy is portrayed by Pat O'Brien."
