"Of course this is the place to be, take photographs & get photographed. This place is a vibe. You have to be there to feel it. The red steps, ginormous billboards, lights, people, constant action - all very overwhelming! I visit every single time I go to New York or even jersey. If you’re taking the metro, get off at 42nd or even at 34th Penn and walk down to the beautiful chaos"
"I had NO IDEA that this statue was even here. You only ever hear about "Times Square" - and the actual official name for the northern triangle of TS is Father Duffy. There are a large set of 'red steps' up behind the statue, which allows a great chance to sit down, rest your feet, people watch, and avoid getting hassled by the photographers and costumed folk."
"I went to visit St. Patrick's Cathedral and went inside the church for the first time. It's a lot bigger than it looks on TV. They have masses at different times if you want to attend mass there. It was crowded with tourists and people attending mass."
