"I often visit this Church because of the shrine of St Jude. St Catherine Church is located at the upper east side of Manhattan, very beautiful and peaceful place to pray."
"Schooled here between 1980-85 while my dad worked as a diplomat with the Nigerian UN mission. Beautiful place and met beautiful people. Sorry to learn that the school was closed down. I look at the pics and memories as a kid floods my mind. The architecture, super great."
"Growing up in Brooklyn, I spent a great deal of time in Manhattan. I would occasionally past this church but never stopped in. Recent health issues required that spend a great deal of time at NYP Hospital. Finally visiting this church showed me a very beautiful church. I meet some nice and enthusiastic people. Lots of visitors stopping in to pray. A very peaceful place."
"Very pretty, beautiful church. Welcoming and nice. By the number of people who drop in to pray/ reflect, I could tell they were happy to be there. I will definitely come back when I visit NY again."
"Beautiful church on a quiet block on the Upper East Side. It has a very traditional brick exterior and doesn't look all that spectacular. Don't let the outside fool you because on the inside you will find massive brick arches and amazing stained glass throughout the entire church. The altar is very grand and prominent too. Definitely one of the most fascinating Catholic churches in NYC."
