Planeview Park

"Great place for a short rest, before heading back out into the home bound traffic. Perfect for a break from Laguardia Airport traffic, while picking up or dropping off passengers for arrivals departures."

"It's a pretty decent park. Good views of La Guardia airport. Went in the night not a lot to see except lot of airport lights. Very windy and it is clean and well maintained. Will certainly go back in the day time . It's not too big and they are a few benches to sit on."

"Planeview Park is a nifty little greenspace that one could consider "off the beaten path" of sorts. The park's location gives visitors a nice view of LaGuardia Airport's runways where on a given day, you can sit and watch numerous flights take off and land. The planes do not fly very close over you but you do have a good enough view to details. Also, planes do but fly over this park every day so your mileage may vary when visiting. I would use a flight tracker to determine the flight pattern to be sure you'll see something if making a trip there. There are benches around the park where you can sit and a large grass area to play or lounge. The only bad thing is that it's located a bit out of the way. You normally would be going there if you needed to rent a car or you go to work in the buildings nearby. Nearby, outside of its connection to the highway, it's a very quiet residential area."
