"Temple Israel is a home away from home for our entire family. The family programming is particularly meaningful and enriching. All types of Jews from very observant to barely identifying are welcome, and there are many mixed-faith families as well as Jews of color. A welcoming and community-building congregation. Glad we found them."

"Last year my friend and i went to a museum Metropolitan of Art. As we were walking back south on 5th Avenue friend suddenly needed to use the bathroom. We did not know where in Central Park one would be so we decided go down the side street Temple Emanuel asked if we could use the restroom. The gentleman at the door very gracious allow my friend to go in. He was able to relieve himself and we continue our walk south on 5th Avenue back to our meeting point for our bus back to Virginia. Jimmy why so thankful for their kindness."
