Reviews of Gilder Center for Science, Education, and Innovation
"Wonderful to explore. Much more interactive than the rest of the museum. The ant colony is fantastic. The building alone is a beautiful space to hang out."
"Great addition to the museum - be sure to check out the leafcutter ants and follow their journey from cutting leaves to bringing it all the way back to the nest - pretty amazing to see! Definitely one of the highlights for me."

"The newly added Richard Gilder Center was much more entertaining than I had expected. There are three floors for the Louis V. Gerstner, Jr. Collections Core. Each displaying their own unique collection, describing what they are and how they are contributing to the future of science! Unless you have entomophobia or insectophobia, I highly recommend checking out the Insectarium on the 1st floor! Tons of information on various insects, ranging from their morphology to their evolution to their contribution in society. There are also live insects for you to watch! Fair warning, ton of tourist and visitors will be taking photos with their exquisite architecture."
"We didn't know this is part of the American Museum of Natural History. So we were pleasantly surprised when we got the ticket for Gilder Center, and was able to see the Planetarium as well as the Museum of Natural History after we go inside. There are some special interactive exhibits that require you to get a separate ticket, but it's well worth it. This place is humongous, you can literally spend their entire day here."
