"When you say you are going to the island for the weekend, this is it! Get away from all of the noise pollution and smell of Manhattan to relax in paradise! Hundreds of feet away from FDR Dr and the sanitation transfer dock so it gives you that sense of a far away vacation spot but less than 5 min swim away. You rarely even run into any other person, usually only floating by on the swim over."
