"A charming and romantic place in Central Park. The bridge is beautiful and the view from it is amazing. A calm and pleasant place. Around the bridge there are many benches for resting. Many couples come here to take pictures on their wedding day."
"Visit: July 2024 Beautiful wooden bridge that overlooks the green lake. Nice spot for photos, but was very crowded"
"Central Park's Bow Bridge is a charming spot, perfect for a stroll together. We loved gazing out at the lake, watching rowboats glide beneath the bridge. The view itself is postcard-worthy - the graceful arch of the bridge framed by the lush greenery, with the iconic Manhattan skyline peeking through the trees in the distance. It's a picture of tranquility amidst the city's energy. Whether you're seeking a romantic moment or just a scenic pause, Bow Bridge is a Central Park gem"
"This is a highlight spot in the park. You can rent boats at the boathouse for $15.00 per hour (cash only) and $4.00 per each additional 15 minute increment. They do require a $20.00 deposit on the boats. At the boathouse, the lake looks small but dont be deceived...its quite large and gives you plenty of places to explore! The lake is filled with turtles who are very used to the congestion of nyc and not at all afraid of passersby. You can get great photos on a sunny day. The Bow Bridge is pretty with spring blooms and is often crowded so you will want to expect people to be apart of your photo opportunities! Great views with the skyline behind!"
"If I lived nearby, I would walk there every day. Such vitality here. People walking, hiking, dogs playing, community gathering, trees flowering, tourists taking selfies, serenity, flowing water. Just beautiful."
